I just applied a few days ago for UCSD Winter 2010 (submitted on the 31st). I want to know what my chances are for getting in. Thanks :)

Major: History

Will be IGETC certified by the end of this summer.

GPA: 3.67

I'm finishing my math requirement this summer, and I am also taking another UC transferable course so that I will have 61 units by the end of this summer. Worse case scenario, I will get a C in the math, but probably a B. I will get an A in the other course for sure.

Major prerequisites completed, and I am going to take more history classes this fall.

EC's - Not too impressive. I did list some things I did in high school. During CC, I just worked for a year or so.

My essays were great, although I don't think UCSD looks into them that much.

Somewhat older transfer, 22 years old.

I had a very rough start in community college. I've been there for four years. Semesters from fall 2005-fall 2007 were pretty disastrous with W's. My last 3 semesters are great though. All A's and B's, no drops.

Overall W's - 23 :( I explained them in my essay.

Other stats:

White

One parent has a 4-year degree

Will not need any financial aid

Will I get in? I know my GPA is great, i'm just worried about the W's and taking so long at CC.

Thanks for any feedback anyone has. :)
