Average EC and community service around 500 hours.
4 years Marching Band - color guard

I am interested in Nursing major.

The nursing school is competitive, but your Subject Test and AP Bio and Calc scores lead me to believe science and math are your strong points. SAT is in the mid-50 range for BC, but I think it’s at the lower end. What ECs do you have outside of Marching Band? And that’s an impressive number for community service, are you a Senior Girl Scout/Eagle Scout?

I have volunteered in a hospital for about 280 hours.
I also volunteered in another hospital during a summer for 80 hours
I am color guard in 4 years.
I am also clarient marcher in a local community band for a year (11th - 12th).
I am clarinet player in local orchestra for my 9th - 10th grade.
I have several music awards (clarinet and piano)
I tutor elementary children in a public library.
I am forming a club and have written consitituion and bylaws and scheduled to present the club in February.

I am not good at english. :-(

I think it’s really awesome that you volunteered in hospitals if you want to go into nursing. I really don’t think there is a black and white answer for whether you should apply. My philosophy is, it’s always worth applying to a school I can see myself being happy and fulfilled at. Even if I don’t get in, that’s okay, because it’s worth a shot. Just my two cents :)
