GPA: (unweighted) 3.56 (unfortunately :( i really didn't apply myself as much as I should have freshmen year)

Not sure about weighted but it's in the upper 4 point something because I've taken a lot of high level classes.

Courses (including senior year):

10 Gifted & Talented classes
8.5 Standard classes
2 Honors classes
10 AP classes

I managed mostly A's, but B's here and there.

In addition to this, I have leadership positions, volunteering work, and I am a part of 5 clubs total including two national honor societies. I also have received numerous awards.

SAT Scores:
CR - 660
M - 670
W - 680
Total - 2010

Since UMDCP only looks at CR and M, I would have a 1330 though.

Granted that I write a good essay and receive good recommendations, what are my chances of getting accepted into the Business school?

Also, what are my chances at any sort of merit scholarships?

I would doubt you get any scholarship money. Pull up your GPA this year. Try to get your cr/m SAT a little higher because you are borderline admit for scholars. I am pretty sure you will be admitted to the business college and a fall admit too. Apply by November 1st to get the best chance.

i was pretty similar to you with an easier course load and i got into smith with no scholarships or honors/scholars so you should be in good shape for at least the business school

From what m best friend has told me (she’s looking at UMBC), UMBC is not the same school as UMCP. Both are University of MD, but BC is public and cheaper, while CP is private and more expensive…

CP is public, isimarie. CP is much bigger, but others from MD can tell you more differences, z. Generally from past posts, it is a bit easier to get into UMBC.
