Chance Me Please?

Hi I am a rising senior and I don't particularly want to list all of my ECs and such so I guess chance me by ACT, schedule, and GPA mainly.
If you say I can't get in, how can I improve my chances?

-Major in actuarial science
-White
-Female
-From Michigan

ACT
Composite: 32
English: 35
Math: 31
Reading: 34
Science: 27
Writing: 10
English/Writing: 33

GPA
Weighted: 4.06
Un-weighted: 4.0

SENIOR SCHEDULE REQUESTS
AP Gov
AP Psych
AP Calc AB
Accounting 1
Senior English
College Research

OTHER APS
AP Macro & Micro (4s)
AP Stats (5)

My school doesn't offer any honors courses or APs until junior year and we are discouraged from taking more than 2 junior year.

Thanks!

Almost certainly in.

To improve chances… Take a couple of SAT IIs and see if you can get one or more scores in the 700 range. But even without that I’d say you’re a high match.

Hard to say w/o EC’s. I know several applicants who were rejected this year with your stats. List ur EC’s, then we can evaluate.

You should not waste your time or money taking SAT II’s unless you want to go somewhere other than Michigan. They do not require them. They do not recommend them. I question whether they even look at them. To recommend that you take them is doing you a disservice.

I would consider U-M a high match or safety for you. If your effort on your application matches your academic performance, you will get in. Just don’t write in your essay about how much you are looking forward to being a Spartan.

Thanks much for the opinions!

Money is a bit tight so I’m not really considering taking SAT II’s.

Hopefully my essays will turn out as well as I hope. I can assure you that my essay will contain nothing about being a Spartan!
