Chance me please?

I'm an internaional student.
Major: Industrial Engineering/Biomedical (which one do you think will I have more chance of getting accepted)
What are my chances in RPI?

Cumulative GPA is 86.9 unweighted
SAT I = Math 620 Writing 590 CR 490
Toefl iBT = 95

My class rank is probably around top 25% - 50%

One thing I'm worried about is my Math this first term in Grade 12 was 73.
But my math in the previous years were much higher. Around 84-93

Courses I'm taking this year
Physics (Grade 10 11 12)
Biology (grade 10 11 12)
Chemistry (Grade 10 11 12)
Calculus (Grade 12)
English (All Grades)
Arabic (All Grades)
Economics (Grade 12)
Computer (All Grades)

Essay is very good
Recommendation letter from Physics teacher and Counselor is probably very good too

ECs:
I have been in Physics Club for 3 years and now the Vice President.
I have been in our school's basketball team for 4 years (2 years First-Point Guard)and am now the Team Captain.
I joined a basketball camp caleld MPAC Elite hosted by a basketball academy called MPAC and was chosen as one of the top 20 players in the camp and won the championship.
I am also in the Student Council
I do science tutoring for my underclass men as part of my work in the Student Council
I work in the Student Council Bookstore too.
I am in the after-school Recycling team.
I participated in a National Day Choir and played Vocals
I'm set to be in the Musical Band of our school to play guitar
I'm signed up to be in a Debate team in our school.

What are my chances?

your sat is really low… And your math score is under the 25% tile… Also your gpa isn’t to good. Your chances are low, but there is a chance

around how much are we talking about here?
25% chance? 30?

If you take the average of my math scores from Grade 9 to grade 12 it will be around 85. I’m not sure if that will help.

i would say 30 percent chance… I mean u could get in. You have taken 3 years of physics which is really good, but everything else is subpar.

Anyone else wanna chance me please?

This is going to be harsh, but…

[ul]
[] SAT Writing at 25th percentile for enrolled students
[] Both of the remaining scores a combined 160 points below that threshold
[] Bottom 5% for class rank compared to recent incoming students
[] Low scores in calculus
[li] International student[/li][/ul]

1% chance at best unless you come up with some ridiculous hook. I don’t think 3 years of physics, at least 2 of which are presumably calculus-free, can help that much. Likely it’ll just leave the admissions committee scratching their heads at your school’s physics curriculum.

Thanks I appreciate your honesty. I would have gotten a higher score than 73 in Calculus but the thing was I missed two quizess for some reason and I couldnt take them when I requested to. But 73 is 73 so youre most probably right. Ugh

Anyonr else please chance me?

Based on the information that you shared, RPI would be a “reach” school for you. However, there are other colleges where your odds would be better, and I would investigate those options to include when submitting applications.
