Chance me please!!

<p>Hi!
So because I don't really know anyone who have applied for UCLA's comm department, I would really appreciate if anyone could chance me on this: </p>

<p>GPA: Currently 3.9 but if I get A's in all classes this semester then 3.93 (from the looks of it with 4 weeks left of the semester, I will get all A's if I don't really screw up now) I have all A's except for one B
Prereq GPA : 4.0 (only class missing is sociology, will take in the spring)
IGETC: Everything except the lab req but I will finish this in the spring
EC: Worked at a media office in my home country but other than that I don't have anything
Other: International student, have no W's on my transcript
Personal statement: I'm a bit worried about this but I'm a good writer so I think I can pull something off.</p>

<p>Do I have a chance?? I'm worried about not being finished with sociology and lab class yet, will this affect my application? Thanks!</p>

<p>This major is so hard to chance. Isn’t the GPA requirement for admission consideration like a 3.7 or 3.8? </p>

<p>GPA is very strong, but remember there are many applicants who are applying with a similar GPA to yours so try and make your personal statement outstanding and get help by having other people read it over for you to help you edit. However, I do think you are a very strong candidate. Good luck :)</p>
