Good Luck.

I agree - you aren’t likely to be admitted. The link above tells the whole story.

I would say probably not as well.

Everyone has a chance. Don’t be discouraged by the people who say you are not likely to be admitted. I have seen people with low stats get in, and I have seen people with almost perfect stats get rejected.

@tinycrayons‌, i agree most everyone has a chance, but it is important to realize that some applicants’ chances are better than others. Cal Poly admits based on a completely algorithm based on both academics AND non-academic criteria. The OP has stats that will be well below the stats of the average admitted ME student. Thus, on the surface, it looks like their chances are less (this is sort of the gist of the ‘chance me’ concept, assess an applicant against the averages). What we don’t know is if they go to a Hayden Partner School or if either of their parents didn’t finish high school or if they are from the local SLO community. Those are only but a few of the ways students with lesser stats can get admitted. This is outlined well in the Confused About MCA post. In the end, a student who isn’t willing to accept a negative assessment of their chances shouldn’t ask for one from random internet strangers.

There’s still a chance. I know a few people who got in with comparable stats. They keyword here is “few” but I say still give it a shot and see how it goes! Good luck?
