Chance me? Please!

<p>I absolutely love Tulane. I visited a few weeks ago and fell in love with the school. It's definitely my #1 choice. </p>

<p>I just read a few threads and saw that students with 4.0s and 34s on the ACT have been waitlisted?! This makes me extremely nervous.</p>

<p>I have a 3.65 GPA (unweighted) and 1800 SAT :(
4 APs, write for the school paper, president of the community service club, model united nations, and work as a tutor.</p>

<p>Is Tulane completely unrealistic? I would reallllly like to know my chances.</p>

<p>Also, I'm new in the college process, so any extra tips on getting accepted to Tulane would be wonderful! I know people say to email back and forth with an admissions counselor but I'm not sure what I should be saying to him/her.</p>

<p>Anything is possible, and I would still apply, but don’t count on getting in. Make sure you apply to another school. You don’t have a remarkable GPA or SAT score, and Tulane really bases if they accept you/give you money on those, and not your personal activities. (They factor in, but not nearly as much as the others do.)</p>
