Nice gpa. UGA and GT have become quite difficult to get into and they appear to be reaches. I really don't know to much about WSU. Are you looking anywhere else?

UGA is very tough, given the HOPE. Your SAT appears way too low. No way they will take you for EA, but perhaps in the spring. You would be "diverse" as you are out of state. I hope you are working on retaking the SAT. The only student I have heard getting in w/ 1000 SAT had a 4.0 and was captain/president of everything w/ a ton of community service. Also, your GPA will be weighted against the rigor of study from your school. That is my opinion (I have a son at UGA, so have been through all this very recently), for what it's worth.

how do you have grades so high and SAT's so low. It would seem to colleges like you were taking easy classes that did not transcend into standardized testing.

well my father lives in GA so I can just say that I live in UGA as an In-State. you know what I mean. and also my high school classes are hard. i can do AP Level work as I am in AP Calculus BC. I find high school easy even though I have taken all honor classes. Its just that I hate reading. Isn't my ACT Math good enough for them schools its a 28. GA Tech said that they will take in range 27-31. but the english on the ACT needs to increase by 4. I have a 21 its just 4 off, maybe they will consider because of my GPA and AP Classes and Community Services, EC's, ETC. I don't want to talk about the SAT, i took that four damn times and it ****es me off because out off all them times my score only increases by 40 points or so!!:@ so? i think they should consider my ACT as a possibility

what does EA stand for?

idk if its possible live in pentstate atm but

You would probably have a decent chance at GA because you will not be competing for HOPE $; they would consider you out of state (may not charge it, but will consider you it). HOPE recipients must graduate GA HS. You won't get early action (EA), but you never know. I know a kid w/ good grades and a 1000 SAT...but he was Asian, so he filled a minority quota. He's a great kid; just did bad on the SAT over and over, similar situation to you. I do not believe Tech will touch you w/ those scores, unfortunately.

no i reside in GA right now so i am considered as an instate residence. my bottom line is will i get in either uga or ga tech with my stats?

Tech- No. I would say that you need atleast a 1240 min to get into Tech. Especially a min of 640 in Math.
UGA- No, unless you get the SAT up to about a 1150 or so.

You need to improve you SAT's to match your high school grades. Basically a 30 ACT or a 2200 SAT.
