<p>*Asian(Korean) boy graduating early from a science high school(currently 11th grade)</p>
<p>GPA: 4.1/4.3 —>3% : took 2nd year college level courses since 10th grade, basically covered everything I will learn till sophomore year in college if I major in physics
SAT: 700/800/720 —>2220 (1 siting)
SAT2: physics, chem, math2c ->800
AP: physicsCMech, E&M, physics B, chem, stat, calBC, macro, micro —>all 5
EC: well i participated in quite a lot of activities but these are the ones that go on my essays</p>
<li><p>Hip-hop band(Common main) : held concerts, in a particular concert I criticized my teacher for being too conservative(in korea they do sth called hair regulation make us cut our hair in some short standard style), explained the consequences…</p></li>
<li><p>human rights movement for NorthKorea(Common short) : wrote petitions, radio-broadcasted to enlighten the northkoreans of the outside situation…etc </p></li>
<li><p>skiing (yale supp.) : I just do it for my leisure but i thought it is a good way to show i’m a fast learner. used analogy with my life(sth like… I learn fast everyting, always seek new challenges, that’s why i’m graduating early)</p></li>

<p>additional big ecs: physics olympiads gold, physics tournament, some national english, science competitions, taught physics and economics to freshmen. </p>
<p>my counselor keep tells me to apply to caltech:( I want to be an intellectual educated with not only science but philosophy, history, economics and stuff. I really!!! think yale fits my academic interest that it is a major research univ. + focuses on liberal arts education<br>
What do you guys think? Do I have a chance?</p>
