Hi I'm a Junior at a top public high school in New York City. I'm hoping to major in Psychology, on a pre-med track, as I'd like to eventually go to medical school after undergrad, and becom a Psychiatrist.
Still waiting on SAT scores, but based on 10+ practice tests, my score should be around 2000-2100. My GPA is a 3.2 at the end of my Jr year. Strong upward trends, I mostly had C's and a few B's throughout my Freshman and Sophomore year, A's and B's in my Junior year.
Here are my EC's
-AACS club/board member (Recording Sec-Freshman+Sophomore year, Pub Sec-Jr year, elected president for my Sr. year)
-Varsity Sports (Basketball- will have played for years. Team captain Jr. year, will be captain again Sr. year, Soccer-Sophomore year, playing Sr. year as well, Softball-Freshman year)
-Mentoring program at school. 30 of about 100 or so applicant are chosen to work with 7th and 8th graders.
-Community Service
-Junior Counselor at two summer camps
-This summer will be my 2nd year as a junior counselor at a leadership sleep-away camp in upstate New York, for 'at-risk' kids
-This summer will be my 3rd year as a Jr. counselor for kids ages 4-12 at a day camp in Mississippi
-Will have an internship at Harlem Hospital in the Fall

Any suggestions on what schools I should be looking at?
My top choices, but definitely reaches due to my grades are NYU, Carnegie Mellon, uMiami, Emory, and Tulane.
I'm also considering Stony Brook, New Paltz, Binghamtom, Uconn, Rutgers, Syracuse and others.
