Please give honest opinions about my chances, it really helps!! :] THANKS ALOTT

You are OBVIOUSLY a well-qualified applicant for these schools. Your test scores could you easily get your any college you want, and with your ECs, you’re pretty much a shoe-in at Emory, Duke, UNC, and Furman. As for Ivy League? You have a very, very good chance to be accepted to these schools, in my opinion. Your history and passion with classical Indian dance is definitely what’s going to set you apart—that supplemental video might be what will push you into the acceptance pile! :-)

P.S. I wish had a chance-me thread as terrific as yours. Seriously.

You have a solid chance! In addition, I’d love to read your articles! If you can, try pming me.

Wow, I’d say you have a fantastic shot. Just don’t mess up the essays and interview, since you already have the statistics, and you’re golden.

Thanks to satiravelvet, Ivslugger36, and Biggie_Smalls for your honest opinion.
More responses please.

Bump, Bump please

bump, bump, bumpppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp

Thanks Harvard1009!!

My school has been sending anywhere from 3 to 4 kids to HPYSM every year. This year our valedictiorian was accepted to Yale. Our saludatorian was accepted to MIT, Caltech, Harvard, and Princeton, and 3rd rank student was accepted to MIT and Duke. (In our school, there is no sharing of ranks, so only one person is val, etc.). Since I will be valedictorian at the beginning of senior year, hopefully colleges will take this into consideration :]]

Good Luck to you too!!! :D

Few more opinions please.

Ya deber

Great stats! I think not only are you clearly bright, but you are unique and that’s what will enable you to shine against other candidates. I think you’ll definitely get into at least one of the Ivies you’re looking at. Good luck! =D

Thanks Khosla!!

Nice advise.

Wow, you’ve got an amazing resume. One jealous person right here. I’d be surprise if you didn’t get into one ivy league, even if you’re Asian.

Yea, I say your in at least one HYPSM. Do you have one specifically you want more than the others?
I’d say a definite match at all the rest.

WAIT A SECOND…

Thanks 100%Tuna for your nice comments. From what I saw, your resume looks awesome. How is UCLA going? Why exactly was this the oddest chance thread you’ve ever done? lol

Thanks to everyone who has responded. I take your comments positively and learn from them. THe college application process is extremely complicated and confusing. So, I am looking forward to some more comments/opinions from experienced people like you. Thanks a lot!!! :D
