I have 3.3 GPA (Unweighted) and 30 ACT. I’m an international student from Korea. I have about 3 extracurriculars and I am confident I can write a good essay. What are my chances of getting into UC Berkeley or UCLA?

Based on the following information, both are Reach schools. Look at UC Santa Cruz, Riverside or Merced.

You need a really high GPA to get into UCLA and Berkeley, especially for an international student. Most students I know who get admitted into Berkeley and UCLA have at least a 3.7+ unweighted, usually the higher the better. Reach for lower schools like Merced or Riverside. Also, look into some cal states.
I’m from California and had a 3.6 unweighted, I didn’t get into Berkeley. I got into UC San Diego and UC Davis, so that should give you some reference.
