Your good GPA with improved grades each year would be in your favor. I believe a lot would depend on whether you have taken advanced courses (Honors/AP etc.) prior to just the one you are taking this semester. UD puts a high emphasis on rigor of HS courses and the grades a student achieves in them. They like to see students challenge themselves by taking such courses and do well grade-wise in them. If you have not taken any Honors/AP previously this might be a negative factor in your chances. Your SAT score is a little below the average for UD students as well. You did not mention which major (if any) you applied to (certain majors are much more competitive for admission than others) so it is not possible to assess this potential factor. The largest number of OOS applicants are also from NJ so this might be a slightly negative factor as well (although this factor might be debatable as to its relevance). The bottom line here IMHO is that your acceptance to UD is probably going to be somewhat of a reach for you (if you have taken previous Honors/AP courses and gotten good grades in them then a little less so). I wish I could be a lttle more optimistic about your chances. Unfortunately it is becoming increasingly difficult to predict chances for acceptance to UD as the competition has been steadily increasing over the years. Best of luck to you.
