I had a great interview with one of the admissions officers.
My brother went there.
I have a connection with one of the senior advisors of the business school.

IMHO the odds for acceptance are slightly more in favor than not. Obviously a lot would depend on the applicant pool this year and each year UD has been getting more and more applications with a steady increase in applicant qualifications-so no guarantee. The upward trend in your GPA over 4 years with the Sr. year GPA of 3.54 should certainly be in your favor. Your SAT score is in the lower range of applicants accepted. According to UD’s Common Data Set they do give some consideration to the interview and alumnie relations in their admission decisions so these factors should be of some help to your chances. Your EC’s and athletic involvement are also positive factors. Hopefully you got good recommendations and wrote a very good essay. I don’t know if your “connection” with an senior advisor in the Business School will effect the decision. Best of luck to you.

Ok. Thanks so much for the kind words and encouragement! I have two very solid academic recommendations and an outside one as well from my boss at the summer camp I work at. I have known him since I was two years old so I’m so the recommendation was very strong and I know UDel looks at that a lot! I’m really hoping I get in!
