ps: I just received notification that my app was complete last week. For the sake of holding off on applying to other colleges as safeties since this is my #1 choice, any idea when I’d most likely receive a decision?
Your ACT and gpa are strong, so assuming your class rank and course rigor are also high, there’s a good chance you’ll get admitted without having to wait terribly long.
From hanging out on this forum, I’ve seen some getting decisions after only 1-2 weeks (from the date their application was complete), but for most it’s been longer than that (2-6 weeks). I suppose it depends on the college, and some think in-state applicants are admitted more slowly than OOS.
Even though you’ll probably be admitted to UMTC, it might be wise to apply to 1-2 others as a back up, especially if their deadlines are coming soon.
