Chance me ?

Weighted gpa of 4.6 unweighted 3.3 and act score of a 20 what are my chances with these scores and gpa ? Which gpa do the rely more on ?

For Columbia, that is well below the average ACT.

I really would discourage you from asking strangers to chance you. The admissions process is complex, and no one here knows your story, or what the number actually represent. Like other schools, USC re calculates GPA. And without a school profile from your guidance counseling none of us can tell what the GPA means. Do your research on median scores so that you don’t waste time and money in this process, but remember that ranges are just that. They are not absolutes. Contact the Regional Admissions Representative and have a discussion about what your stats mean, and how they may be interpreted. Good luck

They rely on unweighted GPA. The schools that rely on weighted is a school like Princeton, which all of the applicants have a 4.0. That GPA and ACT is way too low for a school like South Carolina. You’re going to get an automatic decline most likely. You really need to study and retake the ACT and get a higher score. Don’t worry about your friends who are flashing their acceptance letters around thinking they have bragging rights. In the real world, where you go to school make no difference whatsoever. It’s about your degree and your major. Employers are interested in whether you can do the job.
