<p>I’m pretty sure they accept all top 10%ers from Texas high schools. I’m sure there are people at UT with lower SAT scores who got accepted automatically.</p>
<p>Yeah, luckily for you anybody with top 10 status gets in. Despite lackluster test scores.</p>
<p>It’s a good thing you’re applying this year because state legislature finally realized the policy was ruining the school and they’re changing it for 2011. Smart enough to realize it’s a problem and decided to fix it. But stupid enough to put off making the changes for another year.</p>
