I say its a good chance. I got in with a 3.2 and a 28 ACT

I hope so… :</p>

I think you will get deferred by MSU. I would apply to other schools such as GVSU and maybe a CMU or WMU (similar candidate in another thread). The GPA is way below the middle 50% for GVSU and MSU. However, you have a really good course schedule and GVSU will really like that in the application. It might help you that you attend a MSU feeder school.

I think it sounds good! You seem very well rounded even if your classes average a B. And you are taking challenging courses. I’m applying there too! Good luck :D

Oh goodie, gv’s here again to advertise.

Honestly, it’s going to be fairly difficult with a 3.0. What’s your class rank? Your ACT may make up for it, but I highly suspect a deferral with a possible acceptance if your senior year grades go way up.

To be honest there is no way I am going to Grand valley. Also We dont have class rankings, and i plan to get above a 3.5 Senior year… Hopefully around a 3.7-3.8

Well Icanhopecanti I did also list CMU and WMU as schools you might want to look at in the future. Romani and I don’t always agree on here (understatement) but I think we both think that you will most likely be deferred if not rejected by MSU. It will depend on your high school and the amount of applications to MSU. If you do get deferred you could still get in with really high senior year grades, like a 3.6 or 3.7.

I am thinking I will end up with a 4 A’s and 2 B’s so it should be around a 3.666666 but it can also be worse or better

All you can really do is wait and hope. Good luck :)

what would the major be for anesthesia? i cant figure out what four digit code to put in?

You really should start your own thread.

Anesthesia isn’t a major. You could do pre-med 3809.
