Chance my son

First time I have done this...so I dont know what all you are looking for.
My son I THINK should have an excellent chance of getting in, then I look at some of the people NOT getting in, so I wonder.

SAT the first time was CR 800. Math 760 and Writing 640 March of 2013
Took it the second time and did not do as well. CR 700. Math 690 and Writing 670 November 2013
ACT was 28 English/Writing 33 English and 31 Math
He is #1 or #2 in his class with a 3.96 GPA

Here is where I start to get a little concerned. We live in a small town in Nebraska. Only about 1500 people total. His graduating class is only 23 students. There is no IB/AP/Honors etc. He has taken as much as he can...but there is not a lot of rigor compared to what I see some people on here have. In all honesty he is smart and does well on his test DESPITE his school, not because of it.

I dont have time to list all his extra curricular, but hes been class president, student council, went to state for speech, VEX robotics competitions, drama etc.

I just wonder how much the low rigor will hurt....or if the demographics of being small town farm school will outweigh that? Thanks.

The rigor is based on what is available at his school so if he took the hardest course schedule they offer then he is fine and yes you demographics will be a great help. I never chance because I think it’s a bit silly but he looks like a very good candidate I would think.
