Chance of getting my TAG approved?

Dear UCSB Admissions Office,

I am currently going into my 3rd year at Pasadena City College and plan to TAG to UCSB as an Economics and Accounting Major this fall.

So far, I have completed 91.3 units with an overall GPA of 3.07. My question for the UCSB Admissions Office is whether or not my exceeding of the 90 unit cap applies to me if they are all from a community college.

In addition, according to the UCSB TAG Criteria, I must...

"Earn an overall minimum 3.20 GPA in all UC - transferable coursework by the end of fall 2014 AND maintain a minimum overall 3.20 GPA through the end of spring 2015"

<a href="http://admissions.sa.ucsb.edu/docs/default-source/PDFs/ucsb-fall-2015-tag-criteria.pdf?sfvrsn=4">http://admissions.sa.ucsb.edu/docs/default-source/PDFs/ucsb-fall-2015-tag-criteria.pdf?sfvrsn=4</a></p>

Therefore, I would be eligible to TAG to UCSB if I raised my GPA .13 points by the end of the fall semester and maintained it through the spring, correct? If this is the case, my primary concern is how 'Ws' and retaking classes I have failed will affect the chances of my TAG being approved. Because I am taking two classes that I received a D in in previous semesters, raising my GPA above the 3.2 requirement will not a problem for me.

As of 08/11/2014, I have two Ws and two Ds on my transcript. I am retaking single-variable calculus, which I received a D and a W from in the summer of 2013 and fall 2013, respectively and Microbiology, which I received a D in in the spring of 2014.

I have spent hours working and studying calculus this summer to make sure that I am prepared for the class this upcoming fall, but I'm not sure how to show those in charge of approving TAG applications that I will be able to satisfy the requirements by the end of fall 2014. I'm afraid that if I do not get approved for TAG at UCSB, my chances of getting into the university I want for the major that I want are slim. Assuming that I haven't already been disqualified, what advice do you have have for somebody in my scenario looking to TAG? Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
