I’m currently a highschool junior, and I am hoping to apply to UMich but I am really unsure of my chances now. I’m from out-of-state and I would really like to go into chemical engineering.
- I estimate a 4.66 weighted GPA and maybe about a 3.75 or greater unweighted GPA (I didn't get a very good glance at it). -I have taken 3 APs and I will be taking 4 more next year (I have taken APWH, I'm taking APBio and APUSH, and I will be taking AP Lang, AP chem, AP gov, and AP calc) -I have two years of NHS, one year of student council, one year of art club presidency, and 3 years of involvement with GSA. I plan on adding one more year of student council, one more year of art club, and I would be starting lacrosse next year (it's a bit late but better late than never).
- My goal SAT score is 1400, which is very achievable
Looking at the out-of-state acceptance rate has been… intimidating for me as of late. I would really appreciate some feedback with the info I have provided. Thank you!
