Thanks so much

pretty good chances, ec’s could be more varied but overall, you have a good shot

Do you volunteer at PHCS?

Wow, i wish i were you, although ivies are unpredictable, i am certain you will get in at least one of the top schools.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/875785-uc-berekley-chance-will-love-you-forever.html</a></p>

If Princeton takes your top 3 scores, you’re in as far as i’m concerned. 2330?? That’s fricking genius level.
UPenn- target
Columbia-target/most likely in
Cornell- target
Brown- target/most likely in
Duke-same
Johns Hopkins- same
Idk about the other ones lol sorry! Good luck and don’t stress yourself out

i’d say you’re in JHU and most probably Duke too. Columbia is a reach because they want people that really concentrate on one or two ECs and have true passion for something.

I’d say he’s in the running, but not in. So many applicants are like that and there’s nothing stellar with the EC’s =/

Princeton University: high match…i dont want to call a ‘match’ for HYPSM just because its so unpredictable and they are such hard colleges to get into that nobody’s a match or a safety but you have a very good shot academicwise. Like some posts above EC’s are solid but not outstanding but at least your grades are
UPenn: match. you should get in
Columbia: same
Cornell: same
Brown: same
Duke: same. I heard Duke accepts LOTS of ppl from ED so im not sure if you are disadvantaged by applying RD but im not sure
Johns Hopkins: same

IDK about these colleges sorry :frowning:
TCNJ 7 year med program
Drexel 7 year med program
Penn St. 7 year med program

GL

I think you’ll get into one or two of your top choices, depending on what your class rank is and how well your application is put together. are you a senior? if you are a junior I hope you’ll emphasize your state and national science olympia awards because those are really going to help you.

yes, im a senior, and thanks for the replies guys, anyone else want to be chanced?

Haha, no thanks, as the decisions are coming out in only a few weeks  BauerPower, have you checked out the past decision threads in each college forum? People in the past have posted their stats and whether they were accepted or rejected at specific schools. I found those to be very useful as a way of gauging how one compares to the previously accepted applicants. Those posts were really interesting to read.

Your stat is a typical type of Asian students, who are trying to enter most Ivy schools. The problem is admission officer over there is very boring to read same patterns of application as far as I know. For entering most Ivy school, you need to cross your fingers, unless your recommendations show them your great leadership. Did you have any chance to read your recommendations? And I really don’t understand why you applied low ranked bs-md programs even if your first choice is Princeton?

Medical school guarantee programs are generally fairly competitive. I had similar stats to the OP but was rejected from the two such programs a few weeks ago. Also, I think his stats are typical of applicants who apply to top schools in general, not really of Asian students. If admission officers ever get bored at reading this kinds of applications, it’s only because they see people who are very qualified over and over again, some Asians but mostly non-Asians.

thanks, anyone want to be chanced

you have a great resume and i think its good that your ecs arent too varied because it shows that you have direct interest in math/science and arent just trying to look good. ideally you should be accepted by princeton, but you can’t be certain, just try to stand out. i’d say you have very good chances at cornell, jhu, penn and drexel

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/880224-chances-right-track.html#post1064286465</a></p>

You have a very good chance at all of them. I also agree with maladroite, you show an interest in something and that goes a long way.

[Chance me?](<a href=“http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/879429-chance-me.html"]Chance”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/879429-chance-me.html)

Keep up the scores! In terms of your ECs, I think it’s kind of a list just for impressing colleges. Try to take about the ones you spend 10+ hours per week in your essays, cuz that’s a looong time to spend. lol it’s like you don’t have enough hours in the day to do all that =O, so that’s pretty impressive as it is. Anyways I think you are pretty prepared for these schools, so I think you have a good chance.

moi =)?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-pennsylvania/884302-what-more-should-i-do-my-shot-wharton-please.html</a></p>

Where did you get in?

You seem to be a very competitive candidate for all of the schools you are applying to because of your excellent scores. Great job!

chance back?

WW-P North or South?
