chance-reg or ea?

low gpa... 3.4
1 AP and 2 honors upon graduation, but many other challenging courses regardless including 6 maths, 4.5 sciences and 3 years of Chinese
out of state, Caucasian
1220/1870 SAT (1230/1880 now but received new score after ea was due)
600+ service hours
many extracurriculars and board positions

should I change my application to regular decision as opposed to early action? Also, does anyone have the part II application questions so that I can prepare in case I choose to do so? thank you!

I think because of your lower gpa and high community service hours, you would probably be better off with regular, but thats just me. you could always do ea and if you get differed it rolls over to regular.

Is that GPA weighted or unweighted? If weighted, did you use the UGA formula (core only, AP = .5 extra, Honors = 0 extra)

since i only have 1 ap and 2 honors its pretty much the same regardless give or take a change in the hundreths decimal place

Not sure whether your chances would improve significantly if you convert your application to RD. Your GPA makes UGA a reach, especially for EA (which relies heavily on stats, primarily GPA), so you’d probably have a slightly better shot as an RD applicant.

Whichever track you choose, best of luck.
