ooh let this high schooler try:
JHU(ED) - Slight Reach
Cornell - Slight Reach
U. of Chicago - Match
Rice - Match
U. of Michigan Ann Arbor - Match
Emory - Match
Tufts - Reach-ish
U of Virginia - Match
NYU - somewhere in between Match and Safety
UCLA - Reach-ish
Vanderbilt - Match
UCSD??

^agreed.
JHU is a huge reach for example, instead of a slight reach.

I don't know anything about premed admission, so I won't comment on chances for other schools, but I will just say that it's going to be really hard for you. Your stats are alright for some of those schools, but you are competing against international students with much better stats.

P.S. UCLA and UCSD are also OOS for you..though since you are an international student, it isn't just OOS, it's OOC.

Pbailey this is my first thread .. i do not have any other threads. As you can tell. under my name it says that.

Anyway, but i do not require financial aid and private schools that i haev contacted put international who do not need aid and nationals under the same pool. It is only the internationals who require aid that are at a huge disadvantage. At private schools i don't get docked out because i am international.. only if i need financial aid. However, i am not sure. You guys may know better. I have contacted oone school in JHU and they said that Internationals who are willing to pay all will be judged in the same way as nationals. I take them for their work! So what do you guys think.

@OP: Yeah, I understand that, but the stats for all three of these accounts are so similar I had to ask. While some stats are slightly different, there are just so many similarities. For example, the exact rank and size of class for two of the threads (the one I linked to and the one nuclearfree linked to). The exact same SAT II scores (and three of them too) for those two threads. The same GPA (albeit off by .01 or .02 or so) in all three threads. The same college list. The same LOCATION (Ontario, Canada). This all in the same time frame. That's suspicious.
