Chance without ELC

<p>Just submitted my application, apparently I'm not ELC :(. Do you think I still even have a chance at Berkeley? I hear that it is one of the 14 major points the reps use when evaluating a student.</p>

<p>UC GPA: 4.25
ACT: 33c/35m/35sci/34e/29r
SATII: 790m2/780chem
AP: 4cs/5chem/5stat</p>

<p>Applied engineering/computer science, with tons of compsci ECs to back it up (Android developer, class aide, out of school tutor)</p>

<p>I think my essays went well though, one of which was related to tutoring in computer science and the other about independent problem solving.</p>

<p>Chance me?</p>

<p>(I'll elaborate on ECs if people think that might make a difference even after looking at my stats)</p>

<p>Everything you have posted so far shows that you are a match (act reading kinda low). Post any other ECs that you got high up in (i.e. not just joined and did nothing) - you haven’t put too many - but if they match with what you posted, I’d say you have a pretty good chance of getting in.</p>
