I think you have a decent chance at most of them, and I agree with you on the Ivy League thing... like a lot of people go to them and end up with $200,000 debt and end up making the exact same money as someone who didnt go to an Ivy.

How can you end up with that much debt when they don't even do loans anymore? :P

hugh??????

Ivy League schools do not make students repay them for financial aid.

a lot of people? like who?

you're more likely to accrue debt at a non-Ivy than an Ivy. actually, you can't even accrue debt at Ivies anymore.

and those people who end up as successful as Ivy grads aren't "typical American guys" like the OP described himself to be. they are above average students who still have to work extremely hard to prove themselves.

no need to bash Ivy's just because you feel you can't get in.

There was a study done a little while ago (no link, sorry :( ) comparing the salaries of those who went to the Ivies and those who were accepted at the Ivies but chose not to go. It found that there was no significant disparity between their incomes...

i just think Ivies are over rated. there are hundreds of amazing schools for half the tuition of an ivy league. haha but thats not the point od this thread, anyone else wanna chance me?

bump. please help guys. i really need input

okay guys.. so people who go to ivies and obviously have no scholarships and whose parents do not pay anything from their tuition.. how do they pay? and for you blue gatorade or whatever the heck ur name is.. i can give a whole list of people i PERSONALLY KNOW. so shut up

and trust me I could get into AT LEAST ONE IVY.. look up my posts u blue gatorade person

i agree with lilian 100% Ivy Leagues are so not worth it

At Least One Sane Person On This Thread!

I would say you have a very good chance at all of them. Nice.
