Have a letter of recommendation from a professor at the University.

I was deferred early action

bump anyone?!?

I think the only thing that may hold you back is the ACT score, since you explained the reasoning behind your GPA… I got deferred EA, too, and haven’t heard back either… Good luck!

Yeah, that ACT score is a bit low. Hopefully they’ll look past it given your experience in kines

My girl lindddssyyyyyy, I remember you from the EA thread! What was your illness?

the thing is, the average ACT score for kinesiology is a 27 and the average gpa is a 3.7 (it says it on their website) so it is a little lower than LSA and Engineering for say, so I am not sure if that helps out at all. my illness was depression, but i dont really want to get into it on here…

I don’t really know if anyone with depression is ill, per say.
But I think you have a decent-ish shot.

it was junior year, everything is fine now… i didnt really want to get into it on this thread, i just wanted it to be a chance thread…

Jeez, sorry. Thought it might help you. Guess not.

I deleted my post, now it can go back to being your chance thread. Sorry for trying to shed some light on the issue, since you brought it up.
