ACT: 26
GPA: UW: 3.4 W: 4.0
My GPA is low because of an extended illness junior year and this is explained in a supplemental essay.
Plenty of extra-curriculars.
Won Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Physical Therapy Event at States
Placed in the National competition
Have lots of experience with kinesiology because of an off-campus class I took last year which included internships and what not.
Student Aide in Special Education Class
Grandparent attended the University, along with 3 cousins
Have a letter of recommendation from a professor at the University.

I think the only thing that may hold you back is the ACT score, since you explained the reasoning behind your GPA… I got deferred EA, too, and haven’t heard back either… Good luck!

the thing is, the average ACT score for kinesiology is a 27 and the average gpa is a 3.7 (it says it on their website) so it is a little lower than LSA and Engineering for say, so I am not sure if that helps out at all. my illness was depression, but i dont really want to get into it on here…
