Chance?

I realize I am a bit late. However, extreme anxiety lead me to do this :P.
What are my chances to sd,sb, and David with these stats?
Uc gpa: 3.1(yeah, I slacked :/)
Sat 1: 2020

Ecs:
150 hours comm service
Academic decathlon(11 & 12)
Tutoring(12)

I get that everything above is fairly weak, however, I feel I wrote great essays and I did talk about how I had a lot of trouble, primarily social, throughout high school. In addition, Econ is my thing: I medaled in district acadec in the topic both years and I am a member of the economics council challenge team Adam Smith division for my school.
Realistically, what are my chance for all the schools aforementioned?

Sorry, posting on a phone inhibits thinking :P. I applied as an Econ major to all schools.

I’m a ca res as well

Ezrael, use this link to calculate your likelyhood.
[University of California - Statewide path](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/freshman/california-residents/admissions-index/index.html)
your SAT saved the day. you should be admitted to one of UC schools. Likely Irvn

UC score 272 Top 9%

However, your SAT and grades don’t match. you seemed to had fun instead of study.

dont get your hopes up to high. you probably wont get in most likely from your numbers. its pretty hard if your too below average unless you get lucky.

Your GPA is below the average for all these schools, but your SAT score is pretty solid. Maybe at the average? Your EC’s are okay, but if you did write great essays, that may help.
SD would be a huge reach, Davis would be a reach & SB would also be a reach [based on your numbers]. However, your application will be looked at holistically, so you may have a chance. Your chance at SB would definitely be better than at SD/Davis. But again, college admissions are pretty random. Don’t get your hopes up too high, though. Good luck! I hope you get in somewhere you’ll love :)

As others have said, you have a fairly low chance of admission to SD, D, and SB unless you happen to be a URM or have taken an extremely non-traditional path to this point in your life. Also, barring leadership positions, your ECs are a bit weak as well. If only being high ELO in LoL was an EC, right?

I know it isn’t an option I likely would have entertained when I was a high school senior, but consider taking a year or two at a community college and reapplying. If you apply to transfer after one year (assuming you have the AP credits to do so), you have a much easier chance at all of these schools. I had looked into the process prior to becoming infatuated with UCSD, and they lightly consider your high school stats, but mostly weigh your CC grades. If you’re willing to put in the effort at the community college for one year, you can save yourself a boatload of money and end up at a school you really want. Just something to consider should your admissions cycle not go as well as you hope. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
