If you could help me out, I would love to hear your opinion on my chances of admission into Northwestern. I am currently a Junior in high school and will be applying next year.

ACT: 32 (29 English, 30 Math, 34 Reading, 34 Science)
GPA: 3.97 unweighted 4.37 weighted
Top 10% of my class about 27/335
Honors and AP Classes
Will be a 4 year varsity golfer qualifying for state every year and medaling
NHS member with 50+ community service hours
I attend a large public school OOS.

Listen I’m going to give it to you straight. Chance threads don’t count for anything. We couldn’t tell you any better your chances than a hobo on the street.

While you have good stats my opinion doesn’t matter and no one here knows the system except admissions people who WILL NOT comment on chance threads. Your better off dedicating your time to studying and expanding your EC’s than hoping some random person over the internet thinks you’re qualified to go to a school they may or may not attend.

I completely agree. The intention is obviously not to get people to tell you that you will be fine, but it is instead an attempt to get tips on strengthening ones stats/profile in a setting in which nobody really knows you haha. But thanks.
