I received the letter inviting me to the reception honoring top applicants to ucsb. I applied for chemical engineering and my alternate major was electrical engineering. I was wondering what this invitation means with regard to what major I got in for. If I am a top applicant, I would assume that I got in for my first choice major but I am a bit unsure. Any insight you guys may have would be appreciated. Thanks!
