Chances after being deferred??

I applied to the school of nursing and received a letter requesting midyear grades and sat scores. My combined super score is 700 M, 570 CR, 660 W after taking the Dec sat a couple weeks ago. I know my CR score is still a little low and I was only able to bring it up from a 540 to a 570 but do you think I still have a chance?

I had already submitted an essay and plan on sending a counselor letter of rec. My grades this year are pretty good. I am taking 3 APs and my schedule is fairly rigorous. I am not sure how else I can show them how much I would really like to go to their school.

I think you have a shot. As long as your mid year grades are good, you can still get in. I was also deferred, but from the school of engineering, one of their most competitive schools. My grades are fantastic this semester so I’m hoping I’ll be getting an acceptance letter sometime next month! Good Luck!
