Chances and Question

From: CCC/Sf State
GPA: 3.69
Target School(In order of preference): Haas at Berkeley, Economics at Davis, Business Econ at UCLA, Business Admin. at Irvine, Econ for UCSD

I've just finished my first year at CCC and I've gotten all A's in my first and second semester but what's hurting is the classes I've took when I was in High school, I've got a C at both Chem and Intro to Bus. Will that hurt my chances at Haas? My G.P.A will most likely go up after one more year here to maybe a 3.8+

How do they determine which Tags gets accepted? I've submitted one to Davis.

I've spent my first year also at SF State, taking 6 units there 1st semester and 9 units at a CCC and second semester 15 units at CCC and 3 units at SF State. And 1 class in the summer at a CCC adding the 7 units I accumulated in H.S, I have 34 units from a CCC and 9 units at Sf State. I also dropped out of SF State and went full time CCC to maximize my chances at transferring.

Will taking other business classes at a CCC help out the C I've gotten at the CCC while I was in High School?

ECs: Job tutoring kids, Honors program, Helped create a club for kids called "Future Business Leaders of America" for some local school, and part-time salesman.

Criticism and feedback deeply appreciated. Kudos.

Since you are applying as a tranfer student from a CCC to a UC, your high school transcript may be requested after you are admitted as a transfer student but it will not be looked at as part of your application and will have no bearing on whether you are admitted or not. No high school classes will be counted toward your GPA as a transfer student. You will have to submit transcripts from the CSU you attended with your application and your record there will receive some consideration in the admission decision but it is unlikely any CSU credits earned will be transferable to a UC since the UCs have not entered into articulation agreements with the CSUs like they have with the CCCs.

You sure? I took those classes at a community college while I was a high school junior.
