I apperciate your time to help me and I hope you answer can help me.

With a UC GPA under 3.0, it’s going to be difficult to get into a UC. Most people I know with slightly over a 3.0 were accepted to UCM and UCR, some were deferred a quarter and then accepted to UCI.

hopefully you’re in state. I did some research, and unless you’ve got some GRAND hook, Im not sure your UC gpa is high enough. I believe the minimum in state is a 3.0 and out of state is like a 3.5.
I suggest if you’re set on them you go to a good community college, or even a different four year college and transfer in after one year. It’ll go over much better. depending on EC’s, awards, reccs, and essays, your chances could go either way. but at the moment your UC GPA is holding you back so I suggest aiming higher than a 28 for the aCT ad take the sAT and then take the better of the two.

You will need to retake any A-G class where you geot less than a C to even be considered by a UC. You can do this at night or summer school. Go to the UC Pathways website to read all of the UC rules and calculate your UC GPA for a better idea of the possibilities.
