im applying to NYU Vanderbilt Cornell and Northwestern

any opinions

Ben, I think you have good chances at these schools. Add some safer ones (maybe Wisconsin) though if you don't have any. Best of luck!

i have canadian schools as my safeties thanks though. Annnnnnnnyone else?

hey i'm from canada as well, london ontario. I'm applying to UPenn ED though. Your SAT are pretty solid as well as your average (though abit weak for ontario standards)?

ECs looking good. I would say you are a great match at nyu and a slight slight slight reach at northwestern.

oh yea i also play the piano too. though i follow the ABRSM system? if you wanna talk more add me at arsenal_rocks3@hotmail.com

one more question, are you applying aid to these schools?

hey thanks, no im not applying for aid except for at cornell maybe, the rest arent need blind to canadians. I used the Royal Conservatory of Music, i have no idea if its recognized outside of Canada, but its pretty popular in Toronto.

McGill; you should apply.

yeah im applying to mcgill, and if i dont get in in teh US ill go there, but they deflate marks, its really hard to do well there and i want to go to professional school later on

RCME? what level? (currently doing grade 10 but only been playing piano for about 2.5 years. and only in grade 10 in school)

RCM its royal conservatory of music, and grade 10 is the highest level then you do the ARCT, its practically impossible to complete the ten levels if you have only been doing piano for 2.5 years unless you got lessons before just not with the conservatory

you will def into vandy. i live in nashville and i know a lot of people who are connected to Vandy ( teachers and assistant deans) i could help you out
