Hello everyone!

So I received my PSAT scores today and I got a 215.

I am an African-American female and I was wondering you all think I qualified for the National Achievement Scholarship (for blacks).

I have seen a few posts on the scholarship, and I saw that someone from the Class of 2013 received a 213 I believe. However, I have seen no official cutoff scores released for the NAS, and I was wondering what the possibility of my qualifying is.

Thank you all!

215 is pretty high. I don’t think the cutoffs will be released for some time yet, which is why you haven’t seen them yet. I am guessing that you have a very good chance. What state are you in? You might also have a good shot at National Merit Semifinalist, depending on that.

I’m in Massachusetts. I am almost positive that I have no shot at Semifinalist because the cutoff scores for MA for the past few years has been 221+. It is I think one of the highest in the nation. Just my luck, lol.
