Do I even have a chance at CAS? Should I just directly apply to CGS?
My GPA Sucks but I’ve averaged a good gpa after my freshman year with mostly difficult classes.

Rigor is definitely appealing, but GPA and testing will drag you down. Possibly do very well the rest of junior year/senior year, retest and do better. Apply to CAS, you never know. At worst, they’ll place you into CGS.

Ok I got an 1820 on my SAT and I got admitted into CGS. The average is around 1650-1700+. Send in your SAT score, I also sent in my SAT 2 US history where I got a 530.

1800 is pretty decent, though BU’s average floats around 2,000. For their ACT, it goes around 27-30 if I am correct, so do not submit the 20. Just retest if your a junior because you have time. Write a great essay, bump SAT’s to around 2,000 and do the best you can in the remaining terms.

And yes, some CAS applicants are not offered seats in CGS. But I am sure those who are close to having the grades are generally admitted to CGS at least.
