I'm a senior and am wondering my chances at getting into Carlson.
My second choice is the college of agriculture

GPA-3.1, higher weighted (yes i know this isn't in my favor)
Grade trend has gone up, not down.
ACT-30
High School does not do rank
I've taken 5 honors courses
I've been on varsity hockey for 4 years straight and am captain this year.
Played 2 years of football and basketball, then quit to play club hockey which i put on my app.
I've had a paying job for over a year.
I've put in many volunteer hours.
Went on a church mission trip my freshman year.
I'm a Wisconsin resident.

-I too am a senior trying to get into carlson. My GPA unweighted was 3.5 with nearly all honors/ap all high school, and my ACT was 28.

It’s tough to say for you…the middle range of ACTs last year is 28-30, so you’re in the high end there, but the mid range GPAs were about 3.5 I believe…ECs only seem ok but not necessarily outstanding.

I think you have a small to ok chance, but again, it’s hard to say. The 30 act score should definitely get you considered, how averse they are to the rest of your application in contrast to your ACT…is anyone’s guess

I kind of thought that too I just want feedback and opinions other than my own. But I’m hoping for the best!

Also, I applied on September 26th, but I got the email saying they received all of my materials on October 20th, any idea when I will hear a reply?
