As a female applicant with a 2200+ SAT score and a 800 in math, you have good chances. Remember to calculate your GPA without your freshman year. While SCS has very competitive admission, you look like a strong candidate/

Being a female is certainly a hook. Your GPA is kinda low and this is the School of Computer Science that we’re talking about so idk really. But you’ll get into CIT in my opinion.

Isn’t CIT just as hard to get into as SCS? o-o

Yea my GPA is pretty low The good news is the poor grades are in history and english and good grades in math and sciences ^^; (well not math last year…we had an insane teacher and no one got As…even AIME + USAMO qualifiers…)

Hmm I heard if i apply ED i can only apply to one though! :/

CIT for ECE is as competitive as SCS, but non-ECE is less competitive for admissions. When you apply to CIT undeclared, they will actually admit you ECE-restricted or non-restricted for when you declare.

It really depends how you define “tough”. By pure percentage of acceptances? By academic factors? By qualitative talent? Most people think that “tough” refers to academics, in which case it’s probably SCS. Admission to musical theatre relies on other things.
