<p>Chance me please for Cal Poly ED 2010</p>
<p>Major- Biological Sciences, keep in mind 2009 average is 3.9 csu gpa, 29 ACT </p>
<p>GPA- 3.55 uw, 3.65 uc/csu gpa, and 3.95 weighted, i have taken 12 AP/H freshman to junior year. I plan on taking AP Biology and AP Calculus BC next year</p>
<p>ACT- 31</p>
<p>Extracurricular:
Volunteer
1. 200 hr. at local hospital
2. 100 hr. assistant throwing coach
3. 50 hr. local foodbank
4. 50 hr. Boys and Girls Club</p>
<p>clubs/sports
1. 4 year nhs (President 2009)
2. 4 year csf
3. 4 year mesa
4. 4 year track and field (Captain, 4 year varsity, and 2 time defending league champ.)
5. 4 year Red Cross</p>

2. 2008 most improved thrower (made a 45 foot improvement in the discus from freshman year to sopomore year)

<p>Ok, you should not stress out about your getting into Cal Poly!! You have excellent ec’s your activities including sports are enough to merit the fact that you have a heavy coursework plus a lot of responsibilities outside of school. Your course work and hard work will show the admissions committee you are ready to take on college level coursework. So I say you should not have to worry about this

<p>U look good, Ur ECs ae fabulous, and obviously you have good awards and a great GPA. Honestly though, your ACT score is not that high. I don’t how hard it is to get into that school, but I say you have a good chance at the Ivys, so you should be fine.</p>
<p>Like everyone else, I’d say it depends on how you express yourself on the essays. Your ACT score puts behind a bit, but your other stats bring you up.</p>

<p>I am not very familiar with the school you’re applying to, but your profile is very strong and will get you into most schools. I’m not sure, however, if you should take my advice, so just treat this as a free bump.</p>

<p>I think you definitely could get in. Maybe you could write about your experiences from your volunteer service to explain your variety of hours?</p>

<p>Pretty good! But I think you need a passion. Write about something you really love in your essay and that will make you stand out!</p>

<p>You guys please read post #8 the csu system does not have a personal statement portion of the application nor does it req. Subject tests</p>
