EC: not enough to stand out, but not poor
Model UN (9-11)
Campus Republicans (9-11) Vice President/Debate Organizer

Peer Tutoring (11)
Science Olympiad (11)
Community Service at Temple
Piano (8 years old-now)
Cello (11 years old-10th grade, but a little bit now)

now I know my 11th grade grades are just projections, but I am more than confident in getting those grades (same with SATs)

Dude, it's junior year. Wayyyyyyyy too early.

way to early in your high school career to give you an estimate.

practice test scores also arn't helpful - your real performance is all that matters. i never got an 800 practice math score on the SATs but i got one when i really took them. I also never got below a 750 on practice verbal section at home, but couldnt get it after 3 attempts at the real thing.

also, needless to say, i didn't do very well on my SAT 2s even though i did well on practice tests at home.

assuming I get those grades junior year, and for arguments sake I get 750 M, 700 CR, 700 W what would be my matches, safeties, and reaches?

Not too early to start thinking....and planning. Keep it up!

Okay, 8 AP year-long courses, plus 4 year-long honors courses--meaning half of your schedule is advanced courses. We'll presume you go 3.83 UW GPA--and we'll assume that gives you a rank of 4/350.
We'll presume you go SAT I 750 M, 700 CR, 700 W, and SAT IIs of 720/720/720 (you need to take 3 SAT IIs for some of these schools)

This makes your AI (academic index) a 217.5. We'll presume that you get at least some award, like NMS finalist, or a science olympiad award of some sort.

Based upon this, your odds would be as follows:

Georgetown--Match
George Washington U--Safe Match
Washington and Lee--Safe Match
UVA--Match (OOS)
Boston College--Match
Boston University--Safe Match
American University--Safety
Washington U STL--Match to Slight Reach
Vanderbilt--Slight Reach
Emory University--Match
Dartmouth--Reach
Princeton--Reach
Stanford--Reach

You would also be:
UPenn (but not Wharton)--Match to Slight Reach
UPenn (Wharton)--Reach
Brown--Slight Reach
Cornell--Match
MIT--Reach

You really need more ECs and with leadership or academic awards for Dartmouth, Princeton, Stanford, and MIT. Other than that, you would look pretty good at most schools.

Calcruzer, WuSTL is a lot more difficult to get into these days than Vanderbilt.
Brown can not be a "Slight Reach" for anybody and the same appies to "Cornell--Match".

I would say:

Washington U STL-- Reach
Vanderbilt--Slight Reach
Emory University--Slight Reach
Dartmouth--Reach
Princeton--Unlikely Reach
Stanford--Unlikely Reach
UPenn (but not Wharton)--Reach
UPenn (Wharton)--Unlikely Reach
MIT--Unlikely Reach

WU STL is easier than Vandy. WU is not a great school.

WUSTL is actually a very good school, the Harvard of the midwest
