I have a 3.73 weighted (=[) but should be applying with maybe a 3.9 weighted after I get some semester and online class grades in, with an 1170/1840 on the SAT, a 27 on the ACT, a 10 on both essays, and We The People: The Citizen and the Constitution competition Alumni status after going to the national competition (most probably aren't familiar with the competition but apparently its well respected amongst certain schools and a really decent essay. I'm also a Florida resident, I'm hispanic, and I'm a first generation college student, and I've heard those kinds of things can play a role in your admissions, so yeah, just putting it out there. So yeah, what are my chances? Thanks to anyone that responds. =]

Hey I just saw this on the FSU board! Heh. I would say you probably have a fairly decent chance. My admission stats were a 3.87 weighted, 1220 SAT, and 27 ACT, and I heard back within a week of my full application being sent in. My older brother who was accepted last year had a 3.4 weighted GPA, 1080 SAT, and got in. As long as you can show the school you are an individual, who has a mind, I'm sure they'll have no problem admitting you. Another problem that might arise for you though... Do you really want to attend this school, or are you just looking for the first school to accept you? I would make sure any school you are interested in, has your major. Never settle on just any old school, pick the one that suits you best! Happy college hunting! :D

I'd say you have a good chance. I know some people at my high school that got in UCF with SAT scores in the 900s and 3.2 weighted.
