Chances at prestigious unis

Stats:
3.97 UW with 10 total AP's by the end of high school plus 1 CC class (multivar calc)
2360 SAT (800 M, 780 in CR + W)
SAT II: 800 Math 2, 790 USH, 770 Chem, 730 Spanish
AP: 5's on everything so far (6) except 4 in Spanish, also self-studied AP micro and macro during soph year (5 on both)
Plan on taking AP Music Theory, AP Physics C, AP Literature, AP Psych, and Multivar Calc at a community college during my senior year.

EC's
-Boy Scouts: Eagle Scout with 2 palms, TONS of leadership, many high-adventure treks (I take pride in doing the most difficult expeditions)
-Trombone: All-district 4x, All-state 1x, more awards
-Cross Country: JV freshman year, Varsity soph-sr year, some solid awards
-some more trivial minor club memberships, but I think the aforementioned are the ones that I'll make $$ on with regards to college admissions

Schools:
HYPSM
Penn-Wharton (gonna try for Vagelos LSM)
UChicago
Dartmouth
Duke
NW
Vandy
WUSTL
UF
UMiami

The last two are my safeties. I'm thinking about management consulting, medical management, or engineering as possible careers. Finance, namely investment banking or private equity, would be another option but not my top choice due to the cutthroat nature of the business.

Also, is the order in which I listed the schools (more or less) match the admissions difficulty of the schools?

Asian dude from Florida, goes to a reputable private school in South Florida.

The order which you listed doesn’t match the admissions difficulty.

This is the correct order:

HYPSM
Penn LSM (Penn as a whole is much less selective)
Chicago (number of applications experienced steep decline last year so this may change)
Duke
Dartmouth (also experienced a steep decline)
Vanderbilt
Northwestern
WUSTL

bump. Any other thoughts? I’m thinking about replacing WUSTL with UMich or UVA.

If we included Penn CAS, would it be below Chicago but above Duke in selectivity? That’s what my guess would be.

bump bump

You have a good chance at all those schools, which I’m sure you already know. No one can make a prediction more specific than that.

Based off your list, it seems as though you are applying for 14 schols. (I am counting HYPSM as 5). Do you have specific things that you like about each school? Have you visited? Are you planning to apply for financial aid? These are some things to consider. The application fee (from 50-100 dollars) can be hefty and only increases with the CSS form of the financial aid application. Your time might be better spent narrowing down that list a little. You are no doubt a great candidate, but your time might be better spent focusing on a couple of schools that you have an immense amount of passion for, rather than perhaps writing 10+ supplements for some schools that you may not have researched and feel as passionately about.

I might take off Yale and WUSTL.

You seem like a very strong candidate. However, your ECs show no indication of you being interested in your major. That may be the only thing that holds you back

I once went to a Penn info session, and the admissions rep said that it’s okay if my EC’s aren’t necessarily business or med-related for Wharton/LSM. Should I buy that, or is that just some generic response they give in order for you to apply and increase application numbers?

Solid chances at NW and Vandy

Nothing impressive + Asian male = Automatic High reach for HYPSM Wharton Chicago

Any other thoughts? Anybody want to answer my question regarding the relevant EC’s?
