Chances at Stanford/Michigan/Brown/etc.

Well, some schools will accept tests from the February test date, but the last guaranteed date is December. You should probably retake the ACT, not take the SAT. Prepping for the SAT I is a very arduous task...just stick with what you started. Focus your energies on the ACT...the SAT II's aren't as important. However, don't blow them off.

You really need a more realistic list...also your personal statement essay is extremely cliche.

I don't know about the other schools, but Dartmouth's mean ACT was 31...

OK, retaking Math2 and Chem and taking Physics on Nov. 2

Retaking ACT on the 9th

Did basically no prep the first time around for the subject tests, getting books and studying, 800 for math I think easily, hopefull 800 on chem and physics

Did a little strat prep for ACT, basically learned only one thing (the time saving thing for science), got a 28 the first time cause I was sick, got a 30 the next time. Getting a book for this time, hoping for 33+, my english was what really brought me down and I have improved that (taking AP english this year)

Will that help my chances?

would those scores make my list possible?

I agree with the posters who suggested retooling the list. This will be the hardest year in history to get into top colleges. If your scores go enough enough to make you a vaible candidate, great. But be prepared for that not happening.

This was already established, but you have a very good shot at UofM.

I'm not worried about U of M, I was wondering if Stanford/Brown/Cornell were a possibility with retaking my tests and hopefully gettin 800x3 and 33+...

Just FYI: the acceptance rate at Tufts is lower than at Cornell. So that makes it just as much of a reach as Cornell is. Good luck w/ everything!

good luck dude...
