Chances at UGA, UF, Rutgers, U Texas, Tulane, Santa Clara, UMaryland, U Miami, etc.

What are my chances at:

U of Georgia
U of Florida
Rugers
U of Texas
Tulane
Santa Clara U
U of Maryland
U of Miami
James Madison U
Temple U
Penn State

(All for undergraduate business)

My GPA is a 3.25 and a 4.8 weighted.
My SAT's are 1930 but I plan on retaking them and getting around 2050
I am AFRICAN AMERICAN (very important)
I take almost all honors classes. I have no AP's, but my school offers only a few AP courses and they are mostly science (not my thing).
I go to one of the top public high schools in the state (Massachusetts), and therefore the nation as well (Massachusetts is among the best states for public high schools).
I have great upward trend.. My freshman year I had all low B's, my sophomore year I had all B's, and this year I have pretty much all A's.
My brother attends U of Pennsylvania, my father graduated from Amherst College, and my grandfather and grandmother went to Harvard and Brown respectively.
I am starting goalie for the varsity soccer team and have been in 3 state tournaments.
I also play baseball
I have organized 3 successful annual school poetry slams, drawing hundreds of guests each time.
All my recommendations will be excellent.
I can play violin, saxophone, and piano.
I did a year of Marching Band.

all of them are high matches for you, good gpa and the upward trend will definitely help as well. do you do any volunteer work? adding some volunteer hours will increase your chances

I’m coaching a soccer team this spring and I will likely do a lot of community work over the summer.

I would say you have a decent chance at getting into UF.

I don’t mean to sound judgmental, but the fact that you’re taking mostly honors classes, and your unweighted GPA is 3.25, does not look good. Make sure you do your best to raise it as much as possible in the junior/senior years. A competitive GPA for UF should be about an A- average.

Anyway, your ECs and upward trend in grades are good, as is your family background in higher education. Your ethnicity will help a little as well.

Overall, focus on your grades.
