Chances At University Of Miami, Penn State University Park, and Syracuse University ?

Hello, I'm a junior in high school right now and was just curious as to my shot at some of these schools. Note, I will be applying to all of them early action

I have a 4.0 gpa
(My school does not offer AP courses, but I have taken an English writing college course and received 4 credits this year)

Not sure about class rank but should be top 10% I'm guessing

SAT: 1800 (I know it's not a great score but I'm taking it again)
Cr: 590
Wr: 610
M: 600

African American (if this makes a difference)

Extra Curriculors:
Electric Bass (4 years, soon traveling to Estonia to play in a large concert)
Varsity soccer 4 years (most likely captain my senior year)
Varsity basketball (most likely captain my senior year )
Competitive basketball and soccer on aau teams since I was 7
Helped volunteer for a summer in England at a program called kicks to keep other youth off the streets and playing soccer
Created yagv,( group called youth against gun violence where we advocate against gun violence and the NRA; even met with activists/lobbyists in Washington DC)
Taken STEP NYU courses every Saturday from 9-3 since 8th grade, where I've taken things like trig and medical science

All feedback would be amazing ! I want the honest truth on whether or not I have a good shot of getting in, and some things I could do to improve my app. All responses appreciated, thank you !

All responses appreciated !

Syracuse - low match and possibly a scholarship

Penn state - match

UMiami - Low reach (if you can get your CR+M score to around 1300 you’re in)

Thank you , much appreciated

You advocate against the NRA? Explain this please if you dont mind… just curious why the NRA lol

Phrased that incorrectly ; not necessarily against the NRA, just oppose them on some key issues

You’re in for Syracuse and Penn State! University of Miami might be abit of a reach.

i think you are a match for all these schools! I’m not a racist but I do believe that the african american part does make a difference. My friend with a slightly higher sat score and lower gpa with less ECs than you got into NYU and UNC (OOS) this year which is really good for her credentials. I think you have a chance to get some money from some of these schools too! If you’re iffy about your chances I definitely recommend geting your sat score at least a 100 points, if possible get it to 2000. Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1502527-chances-uva-oos-duke.html

Thanks ! I got you

On second thought, you’ll probably gain brownie points from the liberal-minded academe…
