Chances EDII

Ethnicity: I am Middle Eastern (Jordan and Iran)
Test Scores: 32 ACT (36 Reading,35 Math ,33 English,26 science, 10 writing) and (32 R, 31 M, 32 E, 31 S, 10 writing) I sent both scores in so they know that science wasn't my subject that one day. Superscored, it is a 34.
680CR, 720 Math- I'm not sending these scores

GPA: 90/95(highest average) so it is a 3.79 unweighted
Rigorous Curriculum: AP US History, AP BC Calculus, AP Chemistry, AP Bio, AP French, AP World History, AP Literature
I had a rough Sophomore year, but I included an additional essay about that.

-Head of the Habitat for Humanity Club
-Head of the UNICEF club

-Essay: Very Good
-Teacher Recs: Excellent
-Counselor Rec: Excellent
-Interview: Excellent

-I have shown a large amount of demonstrated interest (I visited twice, have e-mailed admissions frequently, and I have gone to the "Evening at Emory" reception)

I am applying EDII because I want my first semester grades to show. I also applied EA to Oxford@Emory.

there are no interviews for Emory...
so what do you mean by interview: excellent?

p.s. I'm also doing ED II and have about everything the same as you.
plus the Jewishness... yeyayay

Emory lover- there are optional interviews; I had one as well.

almosc- no one superscores the ACT. Anyway, it seems like you would have a great chance. Your grades are good (what's your weighted gpa?) and your test scores are above average. Your ec's are a bit average, but if your essay and recs are indeed great, you stand a great chance for ED.

oh, heh, that interview part is irrelevant. I accidentally forgot to delete it from a previous posting.

My school doesn't weight, so I'm not exactly sure what my weighted GPA is.

Thanks for the opinions.

siri4fun- when I called admissions they said there were no interviews, so I know it's too late now but I'm just curious, how did you get an interview?

yeah, how did you get it?... since emory is my #1, I tried to show my interest as much as possible, so i would like to know if I missed out on a great opportunity. Especially that I live in San Diego and went to go visit it....

I got into Oxford so now I am just waiting for February...
