speech/debate: i have placed top ten at nfl nationals 3 times (10th, 7th, and 3rd). state champion in extemporaneous speaking twice. won a highly ranked national tournament in several events. most nfl points in my state. won about 25ish local tournaments. ive been invited to some pretty prestigious round robins etc etc etc i would go into detail but some of you are pretty astute and could figure out who i am, and that would be awkward.

debate captain 4 years (coordinated and founded a local tournament)
president of young democrats
founded/president of model un chapter
president of french honor society
founded a political periodical-y thing and supervise its publication/(limited) distribution
voted best leader by student body
9th in national french language exam
placed in top 5 / 700 competitors in state french competition in three separate events
invited to a french business symposium thingie
various volunteer work for local candidates
cliché summer leadership conferences
economics camp (i promise it was only about ½ as stupid as youre thinking right now)
hater of capitalization.

HERES THE THING: obviously my major weakness is my transcript, which has a TON of Bs. my counselor explained in her recs that this is because I missed literally ¼ of school last year traveling for debate, but she can hardly form complete sentences anyway so im not confident that this is going to be convincing. plus my school is really competitive, as is demonstrated by the fact that I have a lot of Bs and still an okay rank. how bad is this?

HERES MY LIST: WHAT ARE MY CHANCES? (im looking to cut between 3 and 5)
