Is there anything I forgot that would be helpful to know?
Can you think of any other schools I would be good for?

Thanks!

Oxford, probably. Penn State probably also. The others are reaches (Tulane) to long shots (all the others). You need some clear safeties on your list.

^Agreed. Even with your URM status and NU legacy, all but Tulane and Emory are going to be huge reaches.

If I were you, I wouldn’t even apply to Georgetown, WUSTL, Northwestern, and Chicago. Your GPA is far below the average for those schools, and your ECs and tough courseload can’t totally make up for it. Your ACT score is below the 25th percentile for those schools as it is right now (of course, you can retake). Tulane and Penn State are reaches.

@fallenchemist
I have a list of safeties, but I didn’t put them on this list because… they’re safeties… and I know my chances with them.
;)

Also, I forgot to add this in the college list:
UNC Chapel Hill

^Oos UNC is on the level of Tulane and NU.

Jaycee4141 - OK, that’s great. I was just making sure, because there are tales of woe from students that had no safeties and then had no acceptances come April 1.

UNC-CH OOS is harder to get into than Tulane and about the same as NU. I read somewhere that by state law they have to be 82% minimum in-state. Not sure if that is true, and I couldn’t find anything on their web site. But I know it is tough for OOS students.

Thanks, guys.=]
Any more opinions?
