Everyone on CC are soo competitive! I'm so scared out of my mind!

what's my chance?

I think that's it...

What's my chance?
at
Ivies ED? I know Ivies are reaches for everyone but still....
I would like to know which one I have the best chance at.

You know, it's good to actually like the schools that you apply to. The Ivy League consists of eight different schools. If you like Dartmouth, there is a good chance you won't be into Columbia. Why? One is in the middle of nowhere, while the other is in New York freakin' City. Before you come around here asking your chances for eight schools in which no one has a 100% chance...hell, not even 90%, find out about them first, kid.

Should've been clear. I'm sorry.
Well I want to go to Columbia.
But if I apply to Columbia ED, I can't apply to other
Ivies.
So I just wanted to see what are my chances are at other Ivies first
before I jump right ahead and apply to Columbia.

what's the sat breakdown? if reading is low, go read The Economist (a magazine). if writing, go write and read grammar books. if math, slit your wrist right now

actually, just do ALL 8 of the blue book practice sats with clock. go over EVERY problem. and then do them over again. that's like a guaranteed 200+ increase

well, the only purpose for chances threads is to create a realistic list. we can't change your chances. so just add more matches and safeties. what they are requires your OWN research and camp visits.

yeah its tough to tell without a list of schools... columbia is a reach even ED unless your SATs improve (i'm in the same boat)... your ECs are probably your best aspect though... so emphasize those

thanks you so much american in canada and bobert.
Again I apologize to you, bobert, for posting same post.

I will definitely work on my SAT.
When I got my score I was like... omg... and after talking to you guys now i know that I really need to work on that. So thank you all!
